Alder has long been favoured in traditional saunas: it carries a light brown colour with warm pink undertones, a subtle scent reminiscent of freshly cut hay, and a naturally low risk of twisting or warping. The timber does not overheat and repels water, so it stays comfortable in the hot, humid conditions of the sauna room. Each pack contains six A-grade boards, 15 mm thick and 90 mm wide with an 80 mm effective width, in a choice of 2100 mm or 2400 mm lengths. We recommend treating the wood with paraffin oil, which slightly deepens its colour.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1098/3253/6389/files/alder-sauna-wood-cladding-sts4-90mm-pack-of-6-by-finnmark-sauna-sauna-timber-sauna-timber-finnmark-sauna-972867.jpg?v=1792244800
