Building each board in layers improves stability, extends the life of the raw material and allows a wider range of dimensions than traditional manufacturing, with production by-products used for the base of the board so nothing is wasted. Each board is 15 mm thick and 120 mm wide, with an effective width of 110 mm once fitted, and packs contain six boards in a choice of 2100 mm or 2400 mm lengths. Alder is a popular timber for traditional saunas, light brown with warm pink undertones, and it stays comfortable to the touch in high heat while resisting twisting and warping. The profile integrates cleanly with our other cladding profiles, and we recommend a light treatment with paraffin oil, which slightly deepens the colour of the wood.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1098/3253/6389/files/alder-sauna-wood-cladding-sts3-140mm-pack-of-6-by-finnmark-sauna-sauna-timber-sauna-timber-finnmark-sauna-584724_5f037766-f948-4a74-a5fc-8de9dd136bfb.png?v=1792244677
https://brambleandbolt.shop/products/alder-sauna-wood-cladding-sts3-120mm-pack-of-6-by-finnmark-sauna
